We design, construct, and evaluate microbial biosystems to develop better carbon conversion methods, to develop new tools of scientific discovery, and to engineer better medicines.

We apply Synthetic Biology, Metabolic Engineering, Protein Engineering, Systems Biology, and Bioprocess Engineering strategies to better understand microorganisms and develop sustainable biomanufacturing.
